Halloween!

Yes, it is THAT time of the year! I could not WAIT until October 1st to start decorating. I had such big plans for Halloween decorating. (I still do, and have more)

I got these at the dollar tree for 1.00 a piece. They even light up. The dollar tree is my new addiction for cute little finds!
I could probably wrap everything in spider webbing!
Daddy helped him decorate his window!
Another dollar store find. I really love it, and there are a few more I'd actually like to get ;x
1st Halloween craft of the year!

And, since we are on the Fall/ Halloween subject (aren't we??!).. why not??!

These are hands down the absolute best pumpkin flavored anything I've had. The spice in there, the pumpkin is there, and the cinnamon sugar topping just MAKES them. I found this recipe posted over at Lattesandcouture, after she posted this deliciousness over on her instagram. The original recipe can be found here.

I really am alive..

I'm really alive, and actually have an update, not reviews! (though I do love doing the product reviews!) I'm actually going to make a few different posts.

We have been doing the usual, lately. Tomorrow we leave for Michigan for my brother-in-laws wedding. I'm the mistress of ceremonies, and I'm pretty excited to be involved in the wedding. The only other wedding I've been to was my parents, when I was like, 7 or 8 I think. I got my dress and shoes last weekend, and I love them. I got a purple dress, and gold shoes. I got my shoes at Ross, for 18 bucks, and they are nine west. Score! They are actually like a size too big, but they *work* without being uncomfortable, haha. Cody is going to be the ring bearer. I'm so excited to see my little men dressed up. Nathaniel looks great in his suit, too. He has a pink tie, and it's sort of funny, lol, but it looks really good.

I've been cooking quite a bit lately. I've got major love for my crockpot lately. Chicken noodle soup, green chile chicken, hawaiian bbq chicken, pot roast. I've made a few things from pinterest, as well. Shredded chicken really bothers me for some reason, even when I make it myself. Nathaniel has loved everything, though, so it doesn't bother me to cook, even if it's not something I fully enjoy. I make a lot of homemade breads and rolls with meals, and I usually fill up on those.

Cody is doing pretty well in school. He is still kind of behind, and part of me thinks he wasn't ready for regular kindergarten just yet. Maybe he is, I guess I just fear that kids will pick on him since he is still a bit behind other kids his age. He is insanely smart, he's just kind of hard to understand sometimes, still. We have been doing his homework together, and I got behind this week, since today is his last day until after our vacation, and we had to do it this morning before school, but we made puppets!

(he added mouths and stuff, but i wanted to snap a picture quickly)

SheaMoisture Baby Bar Soap

Another product I received complimentary, VIA Influenster, was SheaMoisture baby bar soap.

There are a few things that have absolutely sold me on this bar of soap, before it was even opened. They would be:

1) The words; raw, organic, and shea butter.
2) The word "BABY". I love baby products.
3) The packaging. I love the simple, "yes, this is organic, not processed junk, with a chemical filled wrapper".

This stuff smells AMAZING. Both of my boys actually have some eczema type bumps on their arms, and legs, and I notice them diminishing after a few uses of this soap. They both love washing themselves with the bar.

I'm definitely going to be purchasing some of this for my kiddos!

"The Original™ Dish Drying Mat" Review!

Yup, another review, and more coming!! This one is for a product I've actually owned for probably over 2 years now. We were up in Santa Fe, NM at world market, and saw this, and it was only 2.99 I believe. She picked it up for us, and it has been amazing!

I received my Naturals Vox Box, complimentary, VIA Influenster almost 2 weeks ago now, and was pleasantly surprised, and happy to find this in there.

I've had a lot of time, and experience with my original one, so I'm glad I can base it off of long time use, rather than just 2 weeks of use or something!

These things are super absorbent, and they dry fast. They don't stay sopping wet. I've washed mine a few times in the washer, and dried as I would anything else. (Since I tend to crowd my counters while baking or cooking, and stuff always ends up on it!). It's still in the same shape it was in when we bought it, with a few added light stains. I'm really happy to have another one, because with 2 kids, and a husband, I overflow my one. Now, I have 2! And, they are SO much easier to store than a dish strainer, and SO much easier to clean. We had a dish strainer, and it got SO nasty, and they are so hard to get totally clean. This, you just toss it the wash!

The price tag on the one I received from Influenster, says 4.99 at bed bath and beyond, but you can also get it at world market for 2.99 or 3.99, I don't remember exactly, but either way, it's worth even the 5.00!

See? I have one full already!

Check out their site, here. It looks like they have some other great products, as well!!
