Montagne Jeunesse (face mask) Review!

I'm going to be reviewing this wonderful product, I received from my Holiday voxbox, from the folks at influenster. You can find this product, as well as more info here: Montagne Jeunesse

I (obviously) received pulped pomegranate.

I decided to try it out tonight, while relaxing and pampering myself.

When I first put it on, my face felt instantly refreshed, as it started to dry. I ran my bath water, and relaxed in a bubble bath while the mask dried. I was able to peel the entire mask off without a mirror. It peels off in nearly one piece! Which, is awesome. I figured I'd be sitting there all night peeling little pieces off!

It smells.. UH-MAY-ZING! It made my face feel SO smooth, and so clean & refreshed. My face just glows!

I will definitely be buying a few of these when I go shopping next!

Montagne Jeunesse beauty treats are free of parabens, vegetarian approved and never tested on animals. NYC New York Color lipgloss review!

Yes. 2 product reviews. They are kind of fun! Along with the press on nails I received, I also received this tube of love.

Super pretty, huh? It's called "Nude New York", and it is gorgeous!

I was really hoping for pink, or a darker brown. But, after not feeling like doing my makeup today, other than mascara, I decided to throw this on. It was just perfect. The perfect amount of shine, and it smells delicious. The only other gloss I use is MAC's dazzleglasses. This isn't sticky like those. Plus, $2.49 is much better than $18.50. I will definitely be purchasing more of these glosses in the near future!

It has pure pigments that created a 3-D gloss effect. Vitamin E provides shine and a moisturizing feel. The formula is non-sticky, super shiny & soft. Available in 10 on-trend shades from neutral nudes, to berries & fuchsias. Start shopping for NYC at these stores nearest you: Walmart, Target, Rite Aid, CVS, Family Dollar, Duane Reade, Kmart, HEB, and others. imPRESS press-on manicure review!

Well, I had the wonderful privilege to join over at influenster mid-November. No way did I think I would get chosen for the Holiday voxbox, seeing as how I'd just joined. Early December, I got an e-mail saying I'd been chosen to receive one! Sweet! Well, I received my box last night in the mail. What a wonderful surprise! I opened it up, and it included lots of girly goodness. One of the items I had actually really wanted to try, was the imPRESS press-on manicure. Well, I did, and I'm going to review them.

First of all, I received the design "Working Girl". Here is a picture!

Cool, right?!

I had always tried these stick on nails as a young girl. They NEVER stayed on, always popped off. I was definitely willing to try these baby's out! My son took a liking to them, as well, and wanted some "pretty cool nails like mommy". Of course we went around that conversation ;D

I decided to see if these were really as fast and easy as claimed. They were! They took less than 10 minutes to put all of them on. (while said children were terrorizing, of course). If *I* can do this, so can anyone else!

They were sticking pretty well, and I had to abuse them. Us mama's always have our hands busy. I sew, I cook, clean, wash dishes, yadda yadda. Well, I had to tackle my son's highchair cover, and to put the straps back in was a nightmare. I lost a nail. Ouch! Not really, which was actually.. nice? Imagine if that were an acrylic. Anyways, After dishes, folding clothes, changing diapers, and losing a battle to them high chair straps, I had lost 2 nails. I'd have to say, they stood up really well. I wanted to be able to say the good, and the downfall to them. I think they would be amazing for going out, or days I wasn't planning on well, being a mom and housewife. (I'd seriously never suggest fake (acrylic) nails to any mom, anyways) I would definitely buy these for special occasions with my husband, or Holidays. If you don't abuse your hands as much as I do, these would definitely be recommended by me, over acrylics.

Here are my kick-ass nails before I abused them to death ;)

imPress Manicure retails for $5.99 for colors and $7.99 for patterns, and is available at CVS, Rite Aid, Duane Reade, KMart, Walgreens, Walmart and more. Hello, December!

I know it's not beginning of December, and it's been here for a little while now, BUT, I'm just getting around to this. I have been busy as a bee with my business. Making cloth diapers! I've had quite a few orders lately. Not that I'm complaining, but between that and my kiddos, I don't have much time for anything else. My in-laws were in for Thanksgiving. Which, was a nice change. We usually spend Thanksgiving alone, and this year, it was full with family. It was nice. Husband and I had a few dates, and it was nice to sleep in a few days!

I decided to decorate for Christmas this year, even though we will be up in Michigan. I love decorating, and I did for Halloween, so I figured why not. My mother-in-law got a groupon for a 10.00 picture package with Santa, so we did that while Nate was at work one day. The camera was broken, of course. I asked if I could take some of my own, and she said I could. They got it working, so my mother-in-law could get her coupons worth. I took a whole bunch by myself, though. I also set Noah's room up for Christmas card pictures. They came out pretty cute for bedroom studio pictures.

I've definitely decided that I love taking pictures, and I think they turn out really well. I don't "edit" hardly ANY of my photos anymore. I thought of making a facebook photography page, just for fun. I just enjoy doing it, and don't need to make it a business, but just a hobby.
