Ahh, eventfulness!

Life has been pretty eventful. Some days are just laid back, some are busy. The husband and I said we were going to go out on Black Friday and NOT buy anything. Well, Wal*Mart was a MAD HOUSE. We didn't go with intentions to buy anything, I just wanted to see what Black Friday was all about. We agreed to get the xbox Kinect after the holidays, and our trip to Michigan. Well, Wal*Mart had a bundle for 199.99 and a 50.00 gift card. It was a really good deal. We went back in the morning, and all the Wal*Marts in our area were sold out. After that, I was determined to find a similar deal. The xbox bundle at Wal*Mart was only a 4GB harddrive, and the one we have is 250. I found a Kinect for 109.99 at GameStop. We ended up venturing out, and buying the last one! My in-laws are in town (from Michigan), and we downloaded some demos, and all got addicted to 'Dance Central 2'. My husband ended up buying it for me yesterday, as an early Christmas gift. Love him.

When the in-laws are around, we always end up playing games! It's not as fun with just the husband & I!

Checkin' out the game aisle, while Grandma & Grandpa spoiled Cody & let him pick out a toy.

Us cheesin' in the game aisle.

And of course, a caramel brulee latte to finish off the night

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving, from our family to yours! Today was wonderful! The day started by actually having company when we woke up this year. The last 3 years we've been in New Mexico, it's just been the 3 of us. (Cody, Nate, & I) My mother-in-law & father-in-law came down this year. My husband made a yummy breakfast for all of us. Once the kitchen was cleaned up from breakfast, I started making the pumpkin pie, from the fresh pumpkin puree Nate pureed the other night. I had extra pumpkin, so I decided to make a loaf of pumpkin bread as well. Dinner consisted of: honey spice glazed ham, turkey, sweet potatoes, corn, cheesy potatoes, stuffing, cranberry sauce, rolls, & pumpkin bread. Everything was delicious.

It was Noah's first turkey day, and he had some cubed sweet potatoes, cheesy potatoes, stuffing, and a few bites of pumpkin bread. He loved every single bite! Daddy gave him a bath, and he got really crabby, so he went to bed for the night. I hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving, and had lots of family time and yummy food!
