imPRESS press-on manicure review!

Well, I had the wonderful privilege to join over at influenster mid-November. No way did I think I would get chosen for the Holiday voxbox, seeing as how I'd just joined. Early December, I got an e-mail saying I'd been chosen to receive one! Sweet! Well, I received my box last night in the mail. What a wonderful surprise! I opened it up, and it included lots of girly goodness. One of the items I had actually really wanted to try, was the imPRESS press-on manicure. Well, I did, and I'm going to review them.

First of all, I received the design "Working Girl". Here is a picture!

Cool, right?!

I had always tried these stick on nails as a young girl. They NEVER stayed on, always popped off. I was definitely willing to try these baby's out! My son took a liking to them, as well, and wanted some "pretty cool nails like mommy". Of course we went around that conversation ;D

I decided to see if these were really as fast and easy as claimed. They were! They took less than 10 minutes to put all of them on. (while said children were terrorizing, of course). If *I* can do this, so can anyone else!

They were sticking pretty well, and I had to abuse them. Us mama's always have our hands busy. I sew, I cook, clean, wash dishes, yadda yadda. Well, I had to tackle my son's highchair cover, and to put the straps back in was a nightmare. I lost a nail. Ouch! Not really, which was actually.. nice? Imagine if that were an acrylic. Anyways, After dishes, folding clothes, changing diapers, and losing a battle to them high chair straps, I had lost 2 nails. I'd have to say, they stood up really well. I wanted to be able to say the good, and the downfall to them. I think they would be amazing for going out, or days I wasn't planning on well, being a mom and housewife. (I'd seriously never suggest fake (acrylic) nails to any mom, anyways) I would definitely buy these for special occasions with my husband, or Holidays. If you don't abuse your hands as much as I do, these would definitely be recommended by me, over acrylics.

Here are my kick-ass nails before I abused them to death ;)
