Goody Ouchless Ribbon Elastics Review!

So, I received these Goody ribbon elastic hair ties, complimentary, in my SunVoxBox from Influenster! I've actually seen these made by some fellow WAHM's, and I've wanted to try them, but I always have a hard time buying ANYTHING I haven't used before! (Weird, I know, but that's one reason to love Influenster!)

Here is what they look like!

There are 5 in a pack, and they retail for right around 3.99 for this pack of 5. You can get them pretty much anywhere Goody products are sold, I believe. I've seen them at Target, Walmart, and Walgreens so far!

I like these hair ties. I think they are cute. The knot makes it kind of odd, if the knot is facing up, because then the ribbon ends stick out. I usually tuck the knot under if that happens, but I try just making sure the knot ends up on the underside of my bun or ponytail. 

When I first went to use one, I didn't really have high hopes of it holding my hair very tightly. My hair is all different lengths, so I need a tight hold. These actually worked really well, and I was able to get them pretty darn tight. 

Overall, I do think I'd purchase these in the future. They feel like they wouldn't be as harsh on your hair as original hair ties. Here is my (very boring), but daily updo, with these!

Sinful Colors Sinful Shine Review!

This is part of my pretty Sun VoxBox from Influenster! This is Sinful Shine, by Sinful Colors, in the color "pragmatic". Firstly, this purple is GORGEOUS. The formula was amazing, and the wear was pretty incredible. I beat my nails up... a lot. My nails were pretty indestructible for nearly 2 1/2 weeks, before I went bowling, and actually cracked one of my nails ): 

I had actually bought 2 bottles of this prior to receiving a bottle complimentary from Influenster, but I never used it. Getting this and trying it out to review, pushed me to use my other 2, and I really love the 3 I have so far! Like I said, the formula's are great, and you get a nice even, opaque coat in 2 coats. Several of their regular line polishes, I find I need 3-4 coats, but not with these! I can't wait to buy more! (Or win them from Influenster! :D)

SheaMoisture Baby Bar Soap

Another product I received complimentary, VIA Influenster, was SheaMoisture baby bar soap.

There are a few things that have absolutely sold me on this bar of soap, before it was even opened. They would be:

1) The words; raw, organic, and shea butter.

2) The word "BABY". I love baby products.

3) The packaging. I love the simple, "yes, this is organic, not processed junk, with a chemical filled wrapper".

This stuff smells AMAZING. Both of my boys actually have some eczema type bumps on their arms, and legs, and I notice them diminishing after a few uses of this soap. They both love washing themselves with the bar. 

I'm definitely going to be purchasing some of this for my kiddos!

"The Original™ Dish Drying Mat" Review!

Yup, another review, and more coming!! This one is for a product I've actually owned for probably over 2 years now. We were up in Santa Fe, NM at world market, and saw this, and it was only 2.99 I believe. She picked it up for us, and it has been amazing!

I received my Naturals Vox Box, complimentary, VIA Influenster almost 2 weeks ago now, and was pleasantly surprised, and happy to find this in there.

I've had a lot of time, and experience with my original one, so I'm glad I can base it off of long time use, rather than just 2 weeks of use or something!

These things are super absorbent, and they dry fast. They don't stay sopping wet. I've washed mine a few times in the washer, and dried as I would anything else. (Since I tend to crowd my counters while baking or cooking, and stuff always ends up on it!). It's still in the same shape it was in when we bought it, with a few added light stains. I'm really happy to have another one, because with 2 kids, and a husband, I overflow my one. Now, I have 2! And, they are SO much easier to store than a dish strainer, and SO much easier to clean. We had a dish strainer, and it got SO nasty, and they are so hard to get totally clean. This, you just toss it the wash!

The price tag on the one I received from Influenster, says 4.99 at bed bath and beyond, but you can also get it at world market for 2.99 or 3.99, I don't remember exactly, but either way, it's worth even the 5.00!

See? I have one full already!

Truvía® natural sweetener Product Review

I've kind of become to like this whole review thing ;)

Anyways, my review today is for Truvia, also for my Influenster love vox box ;) It is a calorie free sweetener. I'm cheap, and recently, my husband and I have been buying Coke Zero, to save on extra calories. It took some getting used to, but we fully enjoy it now.

When I drink coffee, or tea, or pretty much anything, I add a lot of sugar. In turn, making pretty much anything that could be healthy, unhealthy, and loaded with calories. I had some coffee with truvia, and used one packet. It wasn't as sugary as I'd usually make it, but, it was perfect.. and.. calorie free! I didn't add another packet, or add sugar, just one packet! I had recently used sweet n low for some limeade recipes I had, and I could hardly stomach the artificial taste. Truvia tastes exactly like the sugar we normally use.

As I mentioned, I'm cheap, and truvia is pricey, compared to white sugar, so I probably never would have tried it otherwise. I probably wouldn't use it in every baking or anything (only because of the price), but I probably will pick up the packets, for coffee, and other drinks!

Product Review! Kiss Nail Dress

Yes, another one. Get used to it, ok? :) It helps me earn badges on Influenster, and it helps you decide whether or not to bother with certain products! I'm like a guinea pig, yes?

I (obviously) received this from the Influenster Love VoxBox this month! In the Holiday VoxBox I received, I received some stick on nails, which are really hard for me to keep on with 2 little boys, so these appealed to me much more:

I know, I was really excited about the design, also! My finger nails are all breaking and what have you, so, I decided to try these on my toes! I hate feet, I mean hate hate hate, especially mine. So, anyone who sees this, you are lucky to see my feet. However, I like my toenails to be CUTE. Weird, right?

Anyways, with BOTH boys awake, I did these. They took me maybe 10 minutes to perfect. They were incredibly easy. It really made me wonder why I spend so much time toying with nail stampers, and toothpicks to decorate my nails! My (almost) 5 year old was pretty interested, and took the pieces I trimmed, and put them on his nails. He also wants me to add "these are so bue-ful!". And, he "loves them".

I definitely see this as a product I will actually purchase. I love being able to test this stuff, because I would probably never purchase them if I hadn't!

Product Review: Gillette Venus w/ Olay!

Well, it's that time again! Another VoxBox from Influenster!! That means.. product reviews!! Yay! Okay.. this one is for the new Gillette Venus with FIVE blades.. AND Olay moisture bars. What?! Yes, I said it!

I don't know about you, but I absolutely HATE shaving my legs in the winter, especially here in New Mexico. It's already always so dry, and my legs just.. don't like it! So, when you mention moisture bars plus a razor? Um, yes, please! I used mine tonight!

I was almost afraid to use this razor.. I couldn't even feel the blades, it felt like I was shaving with a bar of soap. Really really smooth soap! My legs are so incredibly soft!

My ONLY downfall, that I'm not so sure will convince me to actually purchase this, is the price. 5.00 per blade is a bit more than I am wanting to spend, BUT, it may convince me if it lasts for awhile! We shall see!
